The School District of Lee County: what the rule actually says
For 2026-27, Lee County divides the district into East, South, and West residential choice zones with subzones. Entering high-school students and students new or returning to the district rank high schools in their residential subzone. A school outside the listed transportation subzones may still be chosen, but district transportation is not provided. Students in any zone may request The Sanibel School, Pine Island Elementary, or Fort Myers Beach Elementary, also without district transportation.
