Wichita Public Schools assigns a neighborhood school from the student's home address and grade. The district's WebQuery result also reports bus eligibility. Under Board policy, a student generally must live 2.5 miles or more from the assigned school to qualify for transportation. A special assignment can change the school, but transportation is not provided for that requested change.
